On May 12, 2012, the Jr YBA participated in a clean-up of the Japanese American National War Memorial Court at the Japanese American Cultural and Community Center. Participating in the clean-up were Tyson Amano, Derek Amano, Dustin Noriyuki and Katie Rosengrant.
