The Venice Hongwanji Buddhist Temple’s Bukkyokai is comprised of those community members who pay the annual temple dues and who honor and follow the Teachings of Jodo Shinshu Buddhism. Currently there are more than 200 temple members.
History
With the dedication of the temple facilities on Braddock in 1960, Kiyoshi Waki was elected the first temple president was elected. The Presidents and Resident Ministers of the Venice Hongwanji Buddhist Temple are listed below:
