Japanese American Health Conditions

In partnership with the Japanese American Historical Society of Southern California and the Gardena Valley JCI, Keiro is presenting a seminar on Japanese American Health Conditions, with Dr. Marjorie Kagawa-Singer, UCLA School of Public Health and Department of Asian American Studies.

Topics for discussion include:

  • What are the differences in health conditions of the Issei, Nisei, and Sansei, and people living in Japan?
  • What are the reasons for the differences?
  • What can you do to promote your health?
