The past year has provided many challenges and seriously impacted our way of life, with increased stress and hardship. During this time, acts of anger and hate have seeming increased. How can the Teachings help us with our mental wellness and in dealing with others?

  • Should mental health issues be addressed by the temple? And if so, how?
  • Can Buddhism help a person’s mental health?
  • My Christian friends turn to the Bible when they encounter difficulties, is there something we can turn to as Jodo Shinshu Buddhists?
  • What role does Buddhism play when it’s not just poor mental health but an actual mental illness?

Rev. Shibata will share her thoughts and lead a Q&A Zoom session.

You may reserve your space in this free virtual seminar at www.givebutter.com/sanghaseries2.
