It’s Mochi Tsuki Time!
The Venice Hongwanji A.B.A. will resume its Mochi Tsuki this year on Saturday, December 3, after a two-year hiatus. May we again impose upon you and look forward to your participation in this year’s happy event. This is a family affair for young and old alike, and we encourage you to bring your entire family along with your relatives and friends. This is one of our most fun events of the year.
Volunteers, please observe health code regulations and wear your apron, “total” hair covering and gloves. We are also asking all volunteers to wear masks, since we are expecting a large gathering with many older individuals in close quarters.
Here is our mochi order form for this year. Cost of the mochi is $8.00 per package (approximately 1 lb.) for Komochi and $12.00 for each Okasane set.
11/9: Note, the order form says that the deadline was 11/6, but we haven’t reached our projected limit, yet, so we are still accepting orders. A new comment will be posted once we’ve reached our limit.

Pick up Saturday, December 3, 2022, after 2:00PM. All orders must be picked up at the temple by 6:30PM.
